The unique Diamant-concept is based on the interdepence between ‘home’ – ‘school’ – ‘sport’ – ‘relations’ and the newest insights from learning psychology and Eastern Philosophy (Taoism and Zen Buddhism). As creative thinking skills are integrated within the approach, athletes learn to think autonomously, which gives them even more self esteem and confidence. It’s a highly task-oriented methodology focused on achieving tangible goals necessary for developing a more permanent and independent feeling of satisfaction. Working with Diamant is a conscious process, making the individual athlete aware of his/her personal development, both in study and topsport. To achieve next levels of peak performance the collaboration with team mates, parents, family, coaches, etc. is a very important ingredient of learning and growing. It’s therefore part of the Diamant-approach. |
