Alpen Cup 2010
Introduction
International youth football tournament: A warm welcome to Wolfsberg! Immediately on arrival participants will realise they are regarded here as special guests. Something the Mayor of Wolfsberg will underline once more in his welcoming speech at city hall.
This sensation will be strengthened further because the organisation does everything within its power to offer their international guests a great time.
The tournament is partly being held on the beautiful, festively decorated sports park of the hosts, situated within walking distance of the cosy and picturesque centre of Wolfsberg. The broad international participation is the icing on the cake for this sports feast!
Road Tolls (Autobahnvignet):
Please be aware that an 'Autobahnvignet' is compulsory. Vignets can be bought o.a. at petrol stations.

Organiser introduction
Wolfsberg is a football minded town. There are three football clubs that organise the event of which ATSV Wolfberg is the oldest in Wolfsberg (1927).
It has different sections of which soccer with ten youth teams is the most important. The club has 600 members with around 10 youth teams. The first soccer team actually plays in the “Regional Liga” the 3rd amateur division, but played for a long time in the 1st division. The club is well known for it policy towards the youth. Several youth teams have been Carinthian champions. Two further clubs: Wolfsberg AC and SC St. Stefan are both actively involved in the Alpen club organisation.
The Alpen Cup is one of the annual highlights for Wolfsberg. The municipality strongly supports the organiser.
Facilities
Wolfsberg is renowned for it's excellent sport facilities. The matches are played in and around Wolfsberg on beautiful grass pitches, not more than 2 miles apart. The main sports park right beside the town centre offers a modern stadium, 4 pitches, clubhouse with canteen, locker rooms with showers, bar and an Olympic swimming pool. Club Wolfsberg AC uses the facilities in the town-centre. SC St. Stefan has it's own nice sport facility in the southern part of the town; 2 grass pitches, clubhouse with canteen and changing rooms with showers.
