Olympic Training Centre Papendal is the professional training location for Dutch and foreign top sporters.

This venue is situated in Arnhem. The international airport of Dusseldorf (Weeze) is only 60 km away. Papendal has 2 hotels (3 and 4 star). This 3* hotel has 75 rooms and 1 suite. All rooms have TV, own toilet, bathroom with shower or bath and a safe. The 4 star hotel also has 75  modern rooms.  There is a good restaurant and nice bar. Papendal is also famous because of their conference facilities. Venue

This spacious centre has 6 natural grass football pitches of regulated measurements in superb condition. You will train with your team on a pitch only one minute walk from the hotel. The astroturf pitch has floodlighting available for night time training or matches. The training grounds have changing rooms as well as an equipment room and all the required training equipment for a professional team. Moveable goals are available.

Area

National Park De Hoge Veluwe is one of the Netherlands' oldest and largest national parks. It consists of no less than 5,500 hectares of woodland, heathland, lakes and driftsand. Together with the Kroller-Muller Museum and the sculpture garden it offers a unique combination of nature, art and architecture. De Hoge Veluwe is a park where visitors can still find plenty of space and peace. Where you can walk undisturbed for hours, or cycle using one of the free white bicycle. It is home to many endangered plant and animal species. Have you ever come face to face with a red deer, moufflon or roe deer?
